The ALRDOC Area 3 meeting will be held at American Legion Post 26, 2020 H St, Bakersfield 93301 starting at 10:00AM on Saturday, October 23, 2021. Proper headgear (ALR beret or cover of parent organization) and an ALRDOC compliant vest are required. This meeting is open to all ALRDOC members in good standing. It is not just for Chapter Presidents. Guests who are not members of ALR, but who are part of the Legion family are asked to wear their cover.

Chapters please be prepared to give a short report on any activities you want to make Area 3 aware of. Bring event fliers with you. Email me a list of any of your members who have gone to Rider Everlasting since convention ASAP.

Lunch will be available at the meeting at a cost of $10. You must RSVP by October 15 so we have a headcount for lunch and seating. RSVP to: alrdocarea3secretary@gmail.com

There will be an optional social ride to the World Trade Center Memorial prior to the meeting Saturday morning. If you wish to go, be at the Post starting at 8:15. We will go KSU at 8:30AM and be back by 9:30AM.

We have arranged for a block of 10 rooms for those who want to come the night before at the Springhill Suites by Marriott, 3801 Marriott Dr, Bakersfield 93308. Call 661 377-4000 and use the code "ALR Area 3" to get the group rate. Rates are $109 for king; $119 for a double Queen. Reservations must be made by October 15. The motel is approximately 2 miles from the Post.

For those who arrive the night before: Post 26 will be serving dinner Friday night. The Post opens at 5:00PM and dinner is at 6:30PM. As soon as a menu is posted I will send out an additional email.

An agenda will be sent out a week before the meeting.
