Joshua Tree National Park
The main road through Joshua Tree National Park is Park Boulevard, also known as the Joshua Tree National Park Scenic Drive. This road winds through the park, offering riders breathtaking views of the desert landscape and fascinating geological formations.
It’s an excellent way of seeing plenty of Joshua Tree National Park in just a few hours!
Along the route, you'll have the opportunity to stop and explore various points of interest, such as Hidden Valley, Keys View, and Skull Rock.
The ride through Joshua Tree National Park provides a mix of sweeping curves and straight stretches, allowing you to appreciate the unique beauty of the desert surroundings.
As you navigate the twists and turns, watch for wildlife like desert bighorn sheep and coyotes that may cross your path.
Arizona's Iconic Route 66
Arizona is home to a portion of the iconic Route 66, a historic highway that stretches across the United States. Riding along this section of Route 66 in Arizona is like stepping back in time, offering motorcycle enthusiasts a nostalgic and memorable experience.
The Arizona segment of Route 66 begins in Holbrook, known for its unique roadside attractions like the Wigwam Motel and the iconic Teepee Trading Post. As you ride westward, you'll encounter the stunning Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park, where ancient trees have turned to quartz crystals over millions of years.
Continuing along Route 66, you'll pass through Winslow, immortalized in the Eagles song "Take It Easy." Stop at Standin' on the Corner Park, a tribute to the song and a popular spot for photos. Further west, you'll reach Flagstaff, a vibrant city nestled in the cool pines of the Coconino National Forest.
